Bamban’s wilderness has been heralded as a certified thru-hiking trail having an exit point to Lipit – Mt. Pinatubo’s hiking jump-off. Also home to unique cascading waterfalls and Aeta communities, Bamban is most proud of it’s WWII-era tunnels which are believed to be built by the Japanese. These tunnels, which number between 60-80 are believed to vary in operations – as command centers, sentry points, hospitals and armories.
