Mt. Bungkol Baka

Standing at 540 meters above sea level, Bungkol Baka literally means “cow’s hump” – where the name is descriptive of the mountain’s shape and suggestive of its pastoral importance as a grazing place for cattle. The mountain is within the homeland of the ethnic Abelling people who you will have a chance to interact with, for their men are the ones who serve as guides and porters during treks.
